Kera Weiserbs has been loom knitting for six-years. She is the author of three books on double rake loom knitting: a technique book, The Easier Way to Knit; a stitch dictionary, Purls and Other Gems, and a pattern book, Patterns for the Double Rake Loom. A fourth book is on the way. Kera majored in Materials Arts at Oberlin College and has a PhD in Epidemiology from Johns Hopkins University. Kera’s unique background in art, mathematics and science helped her develop systematic methods for understanding the structure and representation of double loom knit stitches.
