This adorable plush snowman by Scarlett Royal is a good pattern to practice doing simple cable work. It includes a video tutorial and explains how to make it scented for the holiday season. I used a 36 peg 3/8" gauge loom but you can use any 36 peg loom to make this snowman. It is an intermediate pattern.
