My 2 year old son, 5 year old son, me (small adult), and my 88 year old Grandma (as a chemo cap) have all worn this. The pattern uses a single strand of yarn on a large gauge loom, so it is perfect to show off striped yarn!! Uses less than 1 skein. Loom used: 3/4″ 36 peg KK Green Replacement – Adult Small Hat Loom

Uses combination of Uknit, Purl, Ewrap 1 over 2, and Purl 2 together stitches.

The looms are just the best! I thought loom knitting wasn’t within my capabilities. Now i know that the loom makes all the difference for me! I’m currently working on a child’s hat with my new 7/16” loom and enjoying the process!

Large Afghan Loom

Want to make baby blankets with it. Should be perfect for my needs.

Best birthday present I got this year

As I said in the title - this was the best birthday present I got this year! (I may or may not have bought it for myself . . . ) I haven't used it yet, but like all CinDWood Looms, it is lovely, and the craftsmanship is excellent. I was a bit nervous about how it would be packaged - it seems like it would be a bit awkward to mail - but it was well packaged and padded and arrived safely. I don't necessarily NEED a loom this large, but I figured it was better to buy a bigger afghan loom, just in case I find myself in need of one on down the road. It will probably be used for smaller afghans that don't require all of the pegs, but the beauty of this loom is that it has 200 pegs in a 7/16" gauge, which is just two more pegs than that 7/16" afghan loom made by another company. While that loom is very popular, it also has a VERY awkward shape that gives me a headache to think about. (No disrespect to that company, I just don't think I have the dexterity or the sanity to handle a loom in that shape.) I bought this loom because not only can it be used for smaller afghans (if I don't use all of the pegs) or a larger afghan (if I ever decide that I want to make a wider afghan), but I also have several afghan patterns that were written with that other loom in mind, and this is the perfect substitute for that other loom. In short, it's the perfect loom for whatever you need. Well done, CinDWood!

Wonderful packaging and the workmanship is sturdy and so well made.

Long term usability

It would be useful and reasonable to include a couple of extra loom pegs with each loom. If a peg breaks or becomes unusable, an extra peg could salvage an otherwise unusable loom. Glue is included. Why not a replacement peg or 2?

The Best of the Beautiful Bunch!

I will start by saying that I believe Laurie Schue's patterns to be absolutely wonderful. I have purchased many, followed the very clear instructions, and completed them all with very happy results. I will say that this pattern is simply the best of the beautiful bunch! It is so versatile providing the loom knitter with so many choices in size, colors, and patterns. It will keep me busy for a long time to come using up my stash and making blanket after blanket for friends, family, and charity. I may even need to buy another loom so I can work on more than one at a time. I highly recommend this pattern and every other pattern from the incredibly talented Laurie!
