ePattern: Single Strand Beanie

Available as a downloadable PDF This pattern by Angela Steffen makes a great lightweight unisex beanie that stretches to fit many sizes! My 2 year old son, 5 year old son, me (small adult), and my 88 year old Grandma (as a chemo cap) have all worn this. The pattern uses a single strand of yarn on a large gauge loom, so it is perfect to show off striped yarn!! Uses less than 1 skein. Loom used: 3/4″ 36 peg KK Green Replacement – Adult Small Hat Loom
Uses combination of Uknit, Purl, Ewrap 1 over 2, and Purl 2 together stitches.

The looms are just the best! I thought loom knitting wasn’t within my capabilities. Now i know that the loom makes all the difference for me! I’m currently working on a child’s hat with my new 7/16” loom and enjoying the process!
