Available as a downloadable PDF A fun, fashionable and fast hat pattern that uses combination of stitches which remind me of climbing vines. Pattern is written using the 36 peg 3/4" CinDWood KK Green replacement round adult small/youth large hat loom. Beanie fits most youth to adults with a head circumference of 20-23”. Pattern can be adjusted for larger or smaller heads by increasing or decreasing rows. In addition, pattern can be adapted to any loom divisible by 3 (Body portion consists of a stitch repeat sequence that occurs across 3 pegs). Requires approximately 70-80 yards of bulky # 5 yarn. Sample uses less than1 skein of Loops & Thread Charisma Yarn. Written pattern includes detailed instructions as well as video links made to show specific techniques of stitch combinations. Pattern is best suited for those that are familiar with how to ewrap, purl and do the diamond lace aka figure 8 stitch.

Loom Knit ePattern: Jumbo Jumper Shrug Wrap

I am enjoying making this shrug for a Christmas gift this year. The ahrug is well written and fun to make.

This loom is the perfect size and gauge to make a 10-stitch baby blanket with bulky (#5) yarn, I own other looms in this gauge, but they're round--fine for hats or scarves, but awkward for making blankets.

Afraid of Fine Gauge Looms?

I am an elderly knitter with hands that don’t always do what I tell them. Larger gauge knitting looms mean fewer dropped stitches. But I love the look of projects done in a finer gauge. I took a chance and bought this loom to make a full size Afghan for my husband. For this Christmas. Madness! I had to start over a couple of times because I couldn’t fix a mistake. But lesson learned. In this age of instant gratification, I realized that a slower, more measured pace eliminated dropped stitches. And that I was a much more relaxed knitter. I’m 20 mistake free inches into the 70 inches for this project. I love the way it looks and feels. Sometimes it’s nice (and good for me) to ease up and enjoy the process. I’m very happy I bought this loom and am having this experience.
