This sweet shawlette has a wide lace flounce all around the edges. Worked in DK weight yarn on a 5/8 inch gauge loom, it is a fun and chunky lace that knits up quickly. There are also notes for making a full sized shawl. A perfect gift for the bride in your family. The lace steps are written out one by one in loom knitting terms making it easy for you to follow. The flounce is given a gentle ruffle worked in short rows, all in one piece with the shawl.

Loom: 5/8 inch gauge loom with 35 pegs flat knit; option for 48 pegs for a larger shawl. A 1/2 inch gauge loom may be substituted with fingering weight yarn.

Yarn: 375 yards DK for the 5/8 inch gauge, and 320 yards fingering for the 1/2 inch gauge.

All steps are completely written out and there is also a low vision enlarged chart and key at end of pattern which shows the first repeat of the pattern.

I haven't yet knit the Edelweiss hat. It will be a Challenge for me as I am still learning to knit. But the pattern was too Cute. Could Not resist it.

Any heel Any Toe any Sock Anytime Loom it

I purchased this book to demystify toes and heels on the sock loom. What I liked were the many options, accompanied by video links. I’ve checked a couple out, and tried knitting just the heel. I thought the videos were easy to follow.
There are some photos of specific stitches too. I looked at those, for review. Now I have a loom knitting source to explore sock knitting of all kinds.
I bought one loom, at first, but now I have many looms for all sorts of project socks. With this book, I can move from beginner to intermediate. I’ll know all the heel and toe options for socks on the loom.
Exactly what I had hoped. I bought it from Cindwood loom store, so it came as a zip file. I had to unzip it then send it to my kindle from the open file.
However, it came separated into three files. This was the only drawback, but a resourceful person can figure it out. Not enough to pull off a Star.

Ideal for knitting socks. New to loom knitting, but with the easy to follow videos from your sponsors, I was able to make a pair on each one and they came out beautiful and were a perfect fit.

Another Great CynDwood knitting loom!!

I recently bought another CynDwood knitting loom: a 1/4" 120 peg adult hat fine gauge knitting loom. I haven't yet had time to use it, (I have other Fiber Art projects going). But I surely am looking forward to using it. NOW I can Finally use my fine weight yarn by itself without combining it w/ heavier weight yarns. What Fun!!
