This adorable scrunchy pattern is made horizontally on an adult large hat loom. The one pictured used a 1/2" loom with 66 pegs. You can also use a smaller hat loom but you will get a smaller scrunchy with less crunch to it.  A simple way to create a scrunchy using an elastic hair band. Requires a small amount of sewing and a yarn needle.  It can be made with 7/16 gauge loom also with #4 yarn or a larger gauge with chunkier yarn.
