Our Universal S Loom can be used as a single or double rake afghan. The groove is 60" long and Includes a movable wedge with a peg that is used in the inside groove of the loom so you can also knit round tubes in any size. Colored pegs aren't wrapped if using the figure 8 wrap on the double panel. 5/8 inch gauge has more space between each peg for easier wrapping. Universal Looms come with a knitting aid and S-loom Wedge

It can make projects up to a queen size afghan (can stretch to a King depending on yarn and stitch used)

**Majority of pegs are tan with colored marker pegs of Pink or Blue

Ideal for one strand #5 or #6 bulky yarn, or 2 strands of worsted weight #4 yarn

Disappointed...

I purchased this loom to knit a blanket using Bernat Blanket Yarn #6 super bulky. This loom is not spaced wide enough to accommodate this size yarn. The knitting is too tight and the yarn can barely fit through the spacing. However, it is a great high quality Cindwood loom. I should be able to use it with #4 and #5 yarn with ease. Just beware - if you're purchasing this queen size loom to use with bulky yarn you may run into some challenges.

Love this loom!

I was looking for a longer (or wider) loom than the KB afghan loom—and this is it! I love that this will let me make wider blankets; and that’s is easy to do a double rake stitch as well with the colored pegs. My only wish is that they would make the 60” width in the 7/16 gauge, too.

Finally..

This is a sturdy loom. I like it most of all because I like to use bulky yarn. I don't make larger projects like I used to. I am older and no longer have the time or wrist power. The loom makes knitting easy. I learned this craft during Covid and enjoyed it so much. I will be able to make many lapghans using this loom. The peg count is large enough to accommodate just about any pattern I created on my other S Loom. My other S Loom will be used with #4 yarn or below; my new S Loom will accommodate #5 and #6, the bulkier yarns. I am pleased with this purchase. I bought purple, which is one of my favorite colors.
