Horizontal Rib.

I am making a larger blanket than the pattern calls for. The pattern is easy to follow and adjust. I decided to use the Afgans Diamond for my scrap yarns and that is working very well but I want to buy some new yarn for the Horizontal Rib so decided to wait for awhile.

Love My Loom and Afghan Pattern

Received the 80 peg Cindwood Loom for Christmas and have been following the Horizontal Rib Afghan pattern. It is super easy for a beginner, like me, to follow! I wanted to add a photo, but I don’t see where to do that.

First Project

I purchased a new Cindwood loom for this afghan pattern and it turned out great! I am new to loom knitting and this pattern was easy to follow. My son loves his new blanket. I know that this will be my go to pattern for future afghans!

Large Oval Loom.

I have purchased numerous looms from Cindiwood and other companies. While I love all my looms, I really think this is my favorite. My 2 dogs love it because they can still sit on my lap on my recliner with me while I work on the new project I am making with this loom. I love the 7/16th gauge because it really makes the stitches look more uniform and it is easier to use a 4 weight yarn. Right now I am dividing my scrap yarns between this and one of my Cindiwood S looms to make a couple of scrapgans. I am just trying to figure out stitch repeats for a couple of the afgan patterns I downloaded to be able to make bigger blankets with them.
